Standards for noise measurements

To make results comparable and trustable standards that describe minimum requirements have to be used. At present there is no international standards available for ambient noise. BIAS had therefore to develop internal BIAS standards. These are dealing with standards of data handling, standards of handling of sensors, standards of rigs, standards of sensors and standards of signal processing. All of these standards except the last can be found in the report “BIAS standards for noise measurements”. If you have comments please send them to us and we will use them for improving the standards. The standards for signal processing will be released on this website at the end of the year.
